Open Training Courses – Booking Terms & Conditions

 

Our Commitment to ValueOur open training programmes are designed specifically for professionals in the medical device and life sciences sector. Each course is highly interactive, insight-led, and intentionally limited in size to ensure meaningful peer discussion, practical application, and measurable outcomes.Due to the premium nature of the experience, expert facilitation, and restricted delegate numbers, we operate firm booking, cancellation, and participation terms to protect both the integrity and commercial viability of each programme.

 

1. Definitions

  • Provider: Remtec Talent Management Ltd

  • Client: The individual or organisation making the booking

  • Delegate: The individual attending the course

  • Course: The open training programme delivered by the Provider
     

2. Bookings & Payment

  • All bookings must be made via our online booking system or agreed corporate booking process.

  • A place is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or acceptance of a valid purchase order.

  • Individual bookings require full payment at the time of booking.

  • Approved corporate clients may be invoiced with 14-day payment terms, with full payment required prior to course delivery unless otherwise agreed.

  • The Provider reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings at its discretion.

 

3. Fees & Pricing

  • All fees are charged per delegate and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Fees include training delivery, course materials, and refreshments unless otherwise specified.

  • Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
     

3.1 Promotional Discounts & Discount Codes

The Provider may issue promotional discount codes, offers, or special pricing from time to time.

  • Discount codes must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively.

  • Only one discount code or promotional offer may be used per booking unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or refunds.

  • Discount codes are non-transferable and may only be used by the intended recipient unless otherwise specified.

  • The Provider reserves the right to withdraw, amend, suspend, or refuse any discount code where misuse, abuse, fraud, or unauthorised distribution is suspected.

  • Discounts cannot be combined with corporate rates, group discounts, early booking offers, or any other promotion unless expressly stated.

  • Where a booking made using a discount code is cancelled and a refund is due under these Terms and Conditions, any refund will be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client after the discount has been applied.

  • Discount codes are subject to any expiry dates, eligibility criteria, and specific terms communicated with the offer.

  • The Provider reserves the right to correct any pricing errors arising from the incorrect application of a discount code.

 

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Strict Terms)

Due to the limited number of places and high-demand nature of our programmes, the following cancellation terms apply:

Notice Period Before Course:

More than 21 days -  Refund 100%

15–21 days - Refund 50%

14 days or less - No Refund

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Enquiries@remtectalent.com

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of confirmation.

  • Non-attendance is treated as a late cancellation and is non-refundable.

 

5. Transfers & Substitutions

  • Delegate substitutions are permitted at any time at no additional cost.

  • Substitute delegates should be of a similar role or level.

  • Transfers are subject to availability:

    • Requests made more than 14 days prior to the course may transfer once at no charge

    • Requests within 14 days may incur a fee or be treated under cancellation terms

  • Only one transfer per booking is permitted.

 

6. Minimum Delegate Numbers

  • Courses are subject to a minimum delegate threshold to ensure a high-quality experience.

  • If minimum numbers are not met, the Provider reserves the right to:

    • Reschedule the courseoOffer an alternative date or location

    • Provide a full refund

  • Where possible, changes will be communicated at least 10 working days prior to the course.

  • The Provider is not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.

 

7. Corporate Bookings

  • Group bookings may qualify for discounted rates, subject to agreement.

  • If delegate numbers are reduced, pricing may be adjusted accordingly.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring all delegates are aware of these Terms & Conditions.
     

8. Course Content & Delivery

  • The Provider reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course content, trainers, timing, format, or location.

  • Courses may be delivered in-person, virtually, or as a blended experience.

  • The Provider does not guarantee specific outcomes.

 

9. Delegate Responsibilities

  • Delegates are expected to participate fully and behave professionally.

  • The Provider reserves the right to remove any delegate whose behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.

  • Delegates are responsible for ensuring the course is appropriate for their role and experience level.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, frameworks, and content remain the intellectual property of the Provider.

  • Materials are provided for personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

 

11. Recording, AI Use & Content Capture (Strictly Prohibited)

To protect the integrity of the programme and our intellectual property:

  • Audio, video, or screen recording of any part of the course is strictly prohibited.

  • The use of AI tools, transcription software, bots, or any automated capture technologies to record or extract content is strictly prohibited.

  • Delegates may only take notes for personal use.Failure to comply may result in removal from the course without refund and restriction from future participation.

 

12. Confidentiality

  • Delegates agree to maintain confidentiality of any commercially sensitive information shared during the course.

 

13. Data Protection

  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and used for course administration and related communications.

 

14. Liability

  • The Provider’s liability is limited to the course fee paid.

  • The Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business or profit.

 

15. Force Majeure

  • The Provider is not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

 

16. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
